Système de Gestion de Plans Stratégiques (SGPS)

The SGPS system (Système de Gestion de Plans Stratégiques) mainly enables general directorate to manage and share strategic plans with department managers, who can then add actions to support plan items.

SGPS also generates a report that summarizes the strategic plan and all its components:

  • Aspirations
  • Supporting projects
  • Indicators
  • Actions

In general:

  • 100% Web-based:
    • Accessible from anywhere, nothing to install, simplified support.
  • LDAP authentication (AD and NDS, SSO , HTTPS, ADFS)
  • Unlimited number of users for a single price
  • Entity configuration :
    • Modification of all application labels
    • Users/Groups: Manage system access by user or group
    • Building/Department

For General Directorate :

  • Creation of strategic plans : Create one or more multi-year strategic plans.
  • Creation of Aspirations : This is the first level of the strategic plan, representing the plan's major orientations.
  • Creation of Supporting Projects : This is the second level of the strategic plan, representing a project that will support the aspirations.
When creating a new project, general directorate will also need to enter the objectives to be achieved, as well as examples of indicators that will enable them to monitor the objective precisely.
  • Viewing the Strategic Plan Review : Provides a summary view of the strategic plan at all levels, as well as a compilation of actions and indicators entered by collaborators.

For department management :

  • Create an operational plan : A department's management can create operational plans to monitor the actions carried out in their respective departments' operations.
  • Adding actions to one or more strategic plan items : An action is linked to one or more objectives in the strategic plan and/or directly to a departmental operational plan.
When creating an action, management will have to select an indicator proposed by general directorate, or even create its own personal indicator to be reported to the strategic plan.

For a collaborator (Cégep employee):

  • Collaboration: A CEGEP employee with access to the SGPS system will be able to view the strategic plan and accept proposed collaborations, or even ask to collaborate on an action.
  • Adding comments to an action: A collaborator can add comments and indicator results to an action. The results (if in digital format) will be compiled in the strategic plan summary report.
